1. Service Agreement
By engaging RKZ IT Solutions, you agree to these terms for IT services including computer repair, network setup, software installation, and technical support.
2. Service Scope
2.1 Included Services
- Hardware diagnostics and upgrades (RAM, hard drives)
- Software installation and troubleshooting
- Network setup and configuration
- Virus/malware removal
- Data backup and recovery
- Operating system installation
- IT consultation and support
2.2 Excluded Services
- Screen, keyboard, or battery replacement
- Charging port or motherboard repairs
- Soldering or component-level repairs
- Software license purchases (billed separately)
- Third-party service costs
3. No-Fix, No-Fee Guarantee
If we are unable to resolve your IT issue, you will not be charged for the service attempt. This excludes:
- Issues requiring excluded hardware repairs
- Software licensing problems
- Internet service provider issues
- Client cancellation before service completion
- Pre-existing hardware failures
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Service Fees
- On-site service: Hourly rate + transportation
- Remote support: Fixed rate per issue
- Project work: Quoted upfront
- Emergency service: Premium rates may apply
4.2 Payment Methods
- Cash upon service completion
- Bank transfer for advance payments
- Digital payments (GCash, Maya)
5. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate system information
- Backup important data before service
- Provide safe working environment
- Have necessary licenses available
- Pay for any required hardware/software
6. Limitation of Liability
6.1 Data Loss
While we take precautions, we are not liable for data loss. Clients should maintain backups.
6.2 Service Interruptions
We are not responsible for downtime during maintenance or issues beyond our control.
6.3 Maximum Liability
Our maximum liability is limited to the service fee paid.
7. Warranty
7.1 Service Warranty
- Software repairs: 30-day warranty
- Installations: 30-day support included
- Performance upgrades: 14-day functionality guarantee
7.2 Warranty Exclusions
- Client-induced damage
- Virus reinfection
- New hardware failures
- Third-party software issues
8. Cancellation Policy
- 24-hour notice for appointment cancellation
- Late cancellation may incur 50% fee
- No-show appointments billed at full rate
9. Intellectual Property
We respect software licenses and intellectual property rights. Clients are responsible for ensuring proper licensing.
10. Confidentiality
We maintain confidentiality of client information and business data encountered during service provision.
11. Service Modifications
We reserve the right to modify services and pricing with 30-day notice to existing clients.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Philippine law. Disputes shall be resolved in Cebu City courts.
